What is a do-or-die raid in Kabaddi you ask? A do-or-die raid happens when the raiding team is unable to score any points in two consecutive raids and has to go for the kill in the third or else end up losing a point and player to the opposition. In a do-or-die raid, the raider needs to be aggressive and needs to make sure that he makes this raid count. The raider only has 30 seconds to pull off a raid and these 30 seconds sometimes seem too less in a do-or-die situation.
Some players believe the fewer the do-or-die raids, the better the chances of success but spectators love to see raiders being put in these situations and come out stronger by picking a vital point for their team. There are players in the tournament who have mastered this scenario and don’t feel any added pressure when on the mat during this crucial juncture. Let’s know who these players are with the nerves of steel.
